While it’s important to invest in the old, it is just as important to invest in the new. New hobbies are things that you always say you’re going to try that you never make the time for. These are things that you want to pursue and that will ultimately help make you into that ideal version of yourself.
That’s why the next item on my “to you list” is to invest in the new. I want to make sure that I’m taking the time to try new things and that I’m not selling myself short by making the excuse of not having time. I believe that if you want to do something bad enough, you’ll make the time.
Not only will investing in new hobbies let you pursue your passions, it will also give you a feeling of self-satisfaction. By finally getting around to doing all of the things you’re constantly saying you’re going to do you’ll not only be checking an item off your “to you list” but you’ll also be checking off items on your everyday to do list.
As hard as it can be to find time in your busy schedule to make time for new hobbies, keep in mind that at the end of the day the most worthy item of investment is you. There are few better ways to do just that than to pursue those new loves you always say you’re going to.
